Painting 10 of 30 – September 2014, 30 Paintings 30 Days Challenge
In March of this year I had relocated my art gallery and studio and had a big opening celebration. To me the grand opening was one of the biggest events in my career. I was so excited, and so focused on getting the place ready for the opening, that I even forgot to bring my dress shoes to wear with my outfit for the big opening party. The event was wonderful, but the thing that caught me off guard was that I was hearing for the first time, in what seemed and eternity “wow YOU look great…. have been losing weight?” from several different people. Mind you, I still hadn’t told anyone other than my husband and my parents about my diet, exercise and general lifestyle change – so it felt good to know that my hard work was paying off and people do really notice!
