Inspired by Abroad
Cincinnati, OH – AYDesign – Art On Vine is pleased to present a group exhibition of works featuring local artists. The “Inspired by Abroad” show will run from January 16, 2015 – February 19, 2015 with an opening reception, January 16th from 6-10:00 p.m.
Five local artists will be featured in the show: Marion Corbin-Mayer, Gary Kessler, Emily Law, Jim Obergefell, and Amy Yosmali. The works are inspired are by the natural beauty, architecture, and cultural experience on their journeys abroad.
From the stunning Icelandic blues, to the gorgeous French countryside, and the exotic orient this show will take you on a visual tour around the world through the artists’ works.
“Inspired by Abroad” will run January 16th through February 19th, 2015. The artists will be present at the opening reception Friday, January 16th from 6:00-10:00pm. About the Artists
Gary Kessler is a Photographer based in Cincinnati Ohio. He engages clients in his studio and on location across the globe. Gary is a Partner in Motoring In Focus, a blog centered on motoring lifestyle and events.
Emily Law’s work focuses on vibrant, colorful architectural images and landscapes that convey a sense of feeling and emotion by interactions of color and shape, and form, and to make the ordinary interesting.
Jim Obergefell captures the beauty of architecture and the natural world in his photography. Jim’s passion for travel influences and inspires his work.
Marion Corbin-Mayer began painting at an early age and has returned to it again and again. A graduate of Columbus College of Art & Design (BFA, Advertising) and Wright State University (MA, Art Therapy), Marion’s paintings have been shown locally at Essex Studios, the Cincinnati Art Club and are in both private and corporate collections. Marion is a signature member of the Cincinnati Art Club
Amy Yosmali is contemporary abstract artists known for vibrant instrumentation of colors, brushstrokes and movement in her works.
