In 2004 my husband and I took an amazing vacation in Thailand. One of our favorite cities that we visited was Chiang Mai. Located in the mountains and along Ping River, this beautiful city was one of the most memorable of our journey. This panting is in an abstract that captures the beauty of this amazing city and region. In the painting are references to the beautiful blue skies, mountains, golden Wat rooftops, lush exotic landscape, vibrant markets, the culture and the river.
This beautifully inspired painting was painted for the 2015 “Inspired by Abroad” group exhibit at AYDesign – Art on Vine.
