Fat Girl Thin – Ouch!

Painting 13 of 30 – September 2014, 30 Paintings 30 Days Challenge

Sometimes it seems that just when things are going well, that something goes wrong. For me it was my left foot. I don’t really know to this day exactly what happened to cause my injury, but what I do know is that I had seriously injured my foot to the point where putting pressure on it was excruciating. Rather than suffering and giving up on exercising for an indefinite amount of time, I saw a fantastic physical therapist that helped me to heal quicker, making what could have been a major catastrophe into a temporary glitch. I did learn through my experience that major foot problems can make it difficult to have an active life, and that I need to take better care of my feet with stretches, good supportive footwear, and the occasional pampering of a pedicure! This painting represents my appreciation for healthy happy feet, for a healthy active life!
